Ever wonder about Good Friday? What’s it all really about?
And why is it called Good Friday anyway?
The way I look at it: it was a very gruesome day, a painful day, a heartbreaking day for my Savior, my Lord!
Good Friday was the day he was hung on the cross and died. But it wasn’t just any ordinary death. It was one of the most excruciating and painful ways you could die.
I often struggle with my worthiness of his sacrifice – of his gift to me.
Why would he chose to die when he did nothing wrong?
It was me that was the reason for his death.
All I can do is say thank you, accept the gift graciously, and worship him with my life, my actions, and everything I have. But it still sometimes doesn’t feel like enough.
To help put what Jesus when through in perspective, I want to share with you all this article.
It’s emotionally difficult to accept the type of death he endured for you and for me.
